Tipul GKO gl se foloseste pentru conducte cu diametru de la 400 mm pana la 2250 mm.Ele se formeaza dintr-un numar determinat de segmente circulare, numar care este in functie de diametrul exterior al conductei, inclusiv izolatia.
Gama de diametre permite folosirea acestor distantiere pentru diametre ce difera substantial de diametrul nominal. Exista un singur tip de elemente distantiere, cu inaltimi cuprinse intre 36 si 125 mm. Aceasta permite stocarea eficienta a acestora.
Inaltimea dintilor se stabileste la fel ca si in cazul inelelor tip PA. Imbinarea lor se face rapid cu elemente de imbinare din material plastic.
